I thought I knew what I was getting into, but Mr. Nice Guy completely 🖤Shattered🖤 my Expectations. This Story is a slow burning chill that starts straight in your spine and refuses to let go. I couldn't put it down, and found myself turning the pages late into the Night. This isn't just a Dark Story; it is a beautifully twisted descent into Madness. Rottenhearts creates an atmosphere so thick with Anticipation, that I found myself literally looking over my shoulder long after reading. I never had a Story do that to me before. It delivers that haunting, unsettling sensation of a gaze lingering on you from the Dark. It's psychological, it's visceral, and Brilliantly Written. If you love your reads deeply dark and thoroughly unhinged, this is going to be your one of your favorite reads of the year. The pacing and the tension is slow building until you are consumed by the plot and characters, needing to know more.

Mr. NiceGuy was the latter.
I expected psychological horror. I expected to be disturbed. What I didn’t expect was to become so emotionally invested in Adamier. Beneath the horror, the obsession, and the unsettling presence of the doll is a man desperately trying to outrun a childhood that never truly let him go.
What stayed with me most wasn’t just the horror, it was the grief. The way trauma lingers. The way the past keeps reaching into the future. Every revelation made me question whether Adamier was becoming the monster or simply carrying one that had been placed inside him long ago.
The symbolism kept pulling me deeper. The closet. The doll. The black bird. Even after I finished, I found myself going back through the story looking for connections I missed the first time. Few books have made me want to reread chapters immediately just to understand what I had overlooked.
